Wanale Ridge is a beautiful hike just outside Mbale, taking you up the slopes of Mount Elgon through farmland, rocky sections and small trails before opening up to some really good views over Mbale and the surrounding area. Along the way, you’ll come across waterfalls, caves and the famous Wanale cliffs. It’s a proper hike with some climbing involved, but you don’t need to be an experienced hiker to enjoy it. Come ready to walk, climb, get a little tired and have a good day in the mountains.
