Day 1 begins with an early 6:30am departure from Kampala and a scenic drive to Kisoro. Upon arrival, you'll settle in, attend a trip briefing, complete a gear check, and get a good night's rest before the adventure begins. Days 2–4 are dedicated to conquering Uganda's three Virunga volcanoes. You'll start with the thrilling ridges and ladders of Mount Sabinyo (3,669m), continue to the scenic bamboo forests and crater swamp of Mount Gahinga (3,474m), and finish with the challenging ascent of Mount Muhabura (4,127m), the highest of the three, rewarded by spectacular views and a beautiful crater lake at the summit. Day 5 marks the end of the expedition as we depart Kisoro and journey back home, bringing to a close an unforgettable challenge of three volcanoes, breathtaking landscapes, and memories that will last a lifetime.
